Resilience 101

Resilience is best sustained through self-care and selected strategies – acceptance that s**t happens being the number one strategy. In the words of Lucy Hone, “adversity does not discriminate.”

Since 2013 Helena has coached highfliers and vocationalists who have often short-changed themselves on self-care. They have also shown a lack of factual knowledge about self-care e.g. the effects of shortage of sleep, or the timing of caffeine consumption.

Helena weaves her Resilience program into her individual coaching when appropriate. She also runs a 101-day program for teams, groups, or business units. Together with graphic support from Fiona Peak she designed a page-a-day ‘e’ book which provides resources to participants over 101 days – on their phones, tablets, or laptop. It is a short 2 minute per day read but often there are links to videos or articles should the reader wish to explore the topic more deeply.
